Dorbid Village

Dorbid is a village located in the foothills of a mount in a desert, 30 km away from Yazd. It’s a quiet region where you can relax under the shade of trees, listen to the sound of water flowing in Qanat and finally relax in a rural accommodation. You have the option to go on this tour only half a day or stay there for one night. Our tour starts at 4 p.m. After driving 30 km the desert-mountainous road, we arrive in Dorbid.

The first plan is to go to a garden with nearly 30 species of trees and also watch a 1200 year old Cypress tree. Visiting the oldest family of the village can be the next step of this tour. After walking along the garden among the trees and climbing up a slope of sidewalk gently, we reach Dorbid accommodation.

After resting for some time, you can help yourself with herbal tea and other tasty stuff. You will also learn how to bake a traditional bread. Having a delicious Persian dish in Iranian style is another opportunity and unique experience.

Visiting Qanat (old Persian water system) and observing the stars are other wonderful plans of this tour. The evening tour will be finished at 11 p.m., but if you choose the one-night option, you’ll get a deep sleep in the traditional accommodation. Then we will move toward Yazd at 9 a.m. in the next day morning.

Patient and informative. 5star tour guide. We were a group of 4.Thanks to our last moment schedule we had not booked a tour. Tappersia was kind enough to let the local tour guide know and he was very promptly arranged to meet us for the FREE ISFAHAN WALKING TOUR. Amin was the tour guide. He greeted us warmly as we entered Chehre Sotoon palace and what started there ended up with it being the most interesting walk of my life. He was patient with our queries and waited as our mixed group which had people from Spain and Argentina with us.... As info had to be translated for them to Spanish. A free walk in any part of the world usually lasts for an hour or two.... Not amin he would treat all our doubts and questions with respect and answer them.... Ended up with the free walk lasting more than half a day. Will go with 4/5 stars for Amin.

Most relaxed holiday thanks to Tappersia We came to Iran in a troubled time so booked everything through Tappersia just so that we would feel a bit more secure but the experience was beyond expectations. I have never had a more relaxed holiday. I had an excellent tour

This company is great! I highly recommend them. We had 3 days in Yazd and didn’t know what to do. Rasol organized a half day around the city to see the village. The tour guide was fantastic. He found a shadow next to the water where we could sit and he walked us through the history of the residents of Yazd. I would encourage you to contact and book the trip with them. You won;t be disappointed!!

fantastic atmosphere and great service

Don't listen to those tell you not to travel to Iran!. Fantastic team and great guides world with them too good with kids to and amazing service! My kids had a lovely time, playing football in the area while we had some rest in the shadows. Thank you Masoud.
