The western regions of Iran, particularly Kurdistan and Kermanshah offer countless beautiful destinations to visitors. The region has been considered an off the beaten track destination for a long time, however, if you have the time to visit you will surely love uncovering the region’s beauties.
This tour is packed with numerous natural beauties, mountain villages, historical sights and tasty Iranian dishes. The rich culture of Kurds will make your experience invaluable and their warm hospitality would create wonderful memories for you.
We will start our tour from anywhere in Tehran, Kermanshah or Sanandaj. In our regular itinerary, the tour will be started from Bisotun Historical Area, after having breakfast and visiting the inscriptions of Bisotun, we will move on to the mountainous village of Palangan where we also have our lunch by the nearby river. We will finally settle in a hotel in front of the beautiful Zarivar Lake where we also enjoy our dinner.
The following day will be started by visiting the stepped village of Uraman Takht, in the same region a beautiful twisted road takes us to a beautiful lake right next to the Hajij village. Ghuri Ghaleh Cave which is reportedly the largest water cave in Asia is among our stops in the second day. We will then go to Kermanshah to visit Shafei Mosque and Tagh-e Bostan historical attraction, a magnificent Sassanid art in the heart of Kashan.
On the third day, we spend more time exploring the nature and culture of the region. Visiting Piran Waterfall, Sar Pol-e Zahab and Qasr-e Shirin cities are among the highlights of this day. After having our lunch in Kermanshah, we will head back to Tehran where our tour ends.
