What are your minimum order quantities?
For Custom New Eras we can do as low as 12 hats.
How long is the turnaround time?
Turnaround time for the QuickTurn program is as low as 7 days. Standard turnaround is 14 days.
What file formats are best to send?
Most apparel design is done in Adobe Illustrator. If you’re working with a designer, please ask them to supply the source files.

The New Era company was started way back in the 1920s by a German immigrant called Ehrhardt Koch. The skilled craftsman and entrepreneur borrowed money from his sister to start New Era Cap Co.
In the first year alone, the company produced 60,000 Gatsby-style hats from a rented Genesee St. Buffalo N.Y manufacturing plant. Ehrhardt’s son, Harold, joined the business in the 1930s. It was around the same time that the demand for fashion caps was fading.
Meanwhile, baseball was picking up. Harold saw an opportunity and inspired the business into making its first professional baseball cap in 1934. The cap was for the Cleveland Indians.
Like most other businesses, New Era went through a difficult phase in the 1940s during World War II. There was a severe shortage of fabric. The company was even forced to dye the caps from the family’s washing machine at home.
New Era Cap made it through the difficult period, and in 1954, Harold designed the iconic 59Fifty cap. The cap style took off, and so did New Era Cap Co. By the 1980s, the company was also producing headwear for International Baseball League and college sports.
New Era Cap Co went global in the 2000s, opening offices in Europe, Australia, Japan, and other countries. The company was also named the Official NFL sideline cap and NBA court cap in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
Clearly, New Era Cap Co. has one of the richest histories of any headwear company. That’s why their cap designs are so popular.
